Aluminium is a versatile material used in the manufacture of many objects. It has a specific gravity of about one third that of steel or copper, is malleable, ductile and can be easily machined. It has an excellent corrosion resistance and durability. It is also not magnetic, it makes sparks, it ranks second as to ductility and sixth as to malleability.

FASSI Srl has for many years been in business in the die-cast aluminum industry, and its Bergamo facilities turn out excellent aluminum castings for various industrial applications.
